2025 Board of Directors Election

Election Results Are In

Tri-County Suburban REALTORS® is pleased to announce the results of the 2025 Board of Directors election.

To recap, there were three (3) REALTOR® positions and one (1) Affiliate position that were being contested. The membership was provided a slate of eleven (11) REALTOR® candidates, and four (4) Affiliate candidates to cast ballots for.

The REALTOR® candidates who were elected are as follows (listed alphabetically):

Tameka Goldsborough
Amanda Helwig
Lou Muscella

The Affiliate® candidate who was elected is:

Dana Santangelo

These individuals will join 2025 Chairman Michael Howell and Immediate Past Chairman Michael Maerten on the Tri-County Suburban Board next year, along with Directors David Ashe, Ayse Clay, Jason Ostrowsky, and Dennis Morgan. Please note that two (2) additional directors will be appointed by leadership in the coming month and will be released in an upcoming edition of Tri-County Today.

In addition to the election of our Board of Directors, the membership also had the opportunity to vote on a Resolution to restructure Tri-County’s corporation, and to reorganize Tri-County’s assets and member resources to provide additional protections and to create greater operational efficiencies. The corporate restructure was approved, and will become effective January 1, 2025.

Vote and Have Your Voice Heard

Each year, REALTOR^® members of Tri-County Suburban REALTORS^® are provided the opportunity to cast votes for candidates seeking placement on the Board of Directors.
The online polls will open on September 25, 2024 via an email notification that will be sent to all REALTOR^® members.
The election culminates at the conclusion of the 2024 Annual Membership Meeting scheduled for October 23, 2024.
Members can cast their ballot online through 1:00 p.m. on October 23, 2024.
Additionally, members attending Tri-County events can vote at those events through October 23, 2024.
Members will be asked to choose three (3) REALTOR^® members & one (1) Affiliate member to serve alongside the incumbent Directors.
Members elected will serve a 2-year term to the Board.

TO REQUEST A PAPER BALLOT: As in the previous years, all members will ONLY receive their ballot via email. If you would like to receive a hard copy of the ballot mailed to you, that request must be filed with the Chief Executive Officer at least four (4) weeks before the election (September 25, 2024) and the ballot will be mailed to you.

ADDITIONAL CANDIDATES: In accordance with the Bylaws, additional candidates may be placed in nomination by petition by at least five percent (5%) of the REALTOR^® members eligible to vote. The petition must be filed with the Chief Executive Officer at least four (4) weeks before the election (September 25, 2024).
