How Does Your CMA or BPO Compare to an Appraisal? (Fulfills BPO Required Education) | Association of REALTORS® School, Malvern

About

Pricing residential real estate is essential to realistic expectations for both buyer and seller. Appraisals, comparative market analyses (CMA), and Broker Price Opinion (BPO)play significant roles in the real estate transaction, yet they vary greatly in their scope and use. In this class, taught by a real estate appraiser, you will learn how to create more accurate CMA’s/BPO’s through a better understanding of what makes a true comparable property and what basic items are considered by an appraiser when evaluating a home. The course will help students understand the difference between an appraisal and a CMA/BPO and keep real estate licensees in compliance with the law.

This class satisfies the BPO education required by the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission.
