I have been a REALTOR® since 1996. I ran a real estate business from 1996 to 2014. In 2014 I took a position as VP of Sales in the Conshohocken office of Coldwell Banker Preferred. I oversaw daily operations, and managed the sales of 70-80 agents. In 2018, with my business partner, we opened Realty
ONE Group Restore. We have 3 offices in Montgomery County, and 2 in Chester County. I now oversee 170 + agents, along with the transaction management & the financial management of the company.

What role do you hope to play on the Board?

As a candidate for the Board of Directors of Tri-County Suburban REALTORS®, I hope to play an active and collaborative role in advancing the association’s mission to better serve our members. My goal is to contribute my experience in real estate, management, and leadership to help shape policies and initiatives that will address the ever changing needs of our membership and the communities we serve. Open communication and collaboration among board members is key, and very important to me. I will support an environment where ideas can flourish, ultimately enhancing the value and resources available to our membership. I am committed to working closely with my fellow board members to ensure that our association remains a leader in the industry and a valuable asset to all our members.

What Association benefits and/or offerings have provided you the most value in your business?

The benefits and offerings provided by Tri-County Suburban REALTORS® have been invaluable to my business. The association’s educational programs have equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of the our industry effectively; tools such as Forewarn have
enhanced my ability to conduct business safely and efficiently; and participating in professional committees has enabled me to collaborate with fellow REALTORS®, exchange best practices, and stay informed about industry trends. Finally, the opportunity to serve within the association has allowed me to give back to our membership while also expanding my network and professional
growth. These resources and opportunities have been integral to my success and have reinforced my commitment to the association’s mission.

What industry trends do you feel will affect our association in the upcoming years?

In the upcoming years, I anticipate several key industry trends that our association will need to address.
First, the continued advancement of technology will impact how real estate transactions are conducted. Tools like virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and blockchain for secure transactions are becoming more prevalent. A focus on providing training and resources to help members stay ahead of these changes is
important. Second, the ongoing challenge of limited housing inventory will require new solutions. This shortage is likely to spur increased interest in new construction and the conversion of commercial spaces into residential properties. TCSR® can support members by offering insights and resources on navigating these opportunities, including understanding zoning regulations and financing options. Lastly, the preferences of younger generations, who are entering the housing market, will affect the demand for urban living spaces and flexible work-from-home arrangements, as well as the multigenerational living shift, and the need to combine living as a result of the cost of real estate to both the parents and the children. Understanding these shifts and adapting our strategies accordingly is important.

What do you think should be the priority issues being addressed by the Association today?

Tri-County Suburban REALTORS® Association should prioritize several key issues to effectively serve our members and the consumer.

Diversity and Inclusion: Fostering a diverse and inclusive environment within our industry is essential. The association does a fantastic job with this and should continue to lead efforts to promote diversity among real estate professionals and ensure that all clients feel represented and respected in their interactions with our members.

Professional Development and Education: Ongoing education is vital for maintaining high standards of
professionalism and service. TCSR® should continue to offer quality training programs that address emerging trends and equip members with the skills needed to excel, all with a focus on leadership and personal and business growth. Offering courses that align with the focus offered within the LDP.

Housing Affordability and Inventory: Addressing the shortage of affordable housing should be a top priority, by advocating for policies that encourage the development of new housing at attainable prices.

Technology Integration: As technology continues to evolve, it is essential to equip our members with the skills and tools needed to leverage new technologies effectively. This includes training in virtual reality for property tours, and AI for market analysis. We have only scratched the surface here.

Why are you interested in serving on the Board of Directors?

I have been a REALTOR® for 29 years. Through that time I have served not only my clients, and the community, but I have served our membership locally and on the state level. I have said this before: My interest truly lies in giving back to the industry that has given me so much over the years. I am a
student of real estate and hold professionalism, customer experience, and integrity high on my list of values. I believe that my knowledge, experience, relationships, reputation, and desire to grow will serve TCSR®, and its membership very well. And to be able to learn from so many other great leaders in the process is something that I truly look forward to.
