What role do you hope to play on the Board?

Our industry has always been in constant change. This year, however, may have us see the largest change ever to our profession. The association leadership at every level is vital to the continued well being and growth of our association. I would like to be a part of the board that brings pragmatism, industry
knowledge and vision to the new directions our profession is taking, and how our association needs to bee a key part of that growth and change.

What Association benefits and/or offerings have provided you the most value in your business?

We could not be in business without our standard forms and legal hotline. Locally, the biggest benefit is the access to the depth and breadth of the education opportunities available. Better educated agents make our association and profession stronger.

What industry trends do you feel will affect our association in the upcoming years?

The commission lawsuits and settlement will have an immediate and monumental impact on our profession and members. This challenge to us all is on top of the ongoing challenges of consolidation, national real estate platforms, AI initiatives and general economic issues that continue to affect housing availability and affordability that affect our industry. Association relevancy will continue to be challenged buy technological advances, and association must plan accordingly.

What do you think should be the priority issues being addressed by the Association today?

  1. Membership retention and growth through continued benefits
    and relevancy.
  2. Member education and professional elevation.

Why are you interested in serving on the Board of Directors?

Never has there been a time where strong association leadership is more important. In our post NAR settlement world, we will be faced with challenges we don’t even know about yet. I ask to be considered for a position on the board because with my past experience and industry knowledge, I will be able to hit the ground running.
