Please expand on your previous leadership experience.

It started back in 5th grade when I became president of my class. From that point I went on to elected as president of my 11th grade, 12th grade then college fraternity. I feel that I have always been drawn to work with others to help progress and innovate with organized groups of people. I now strive to lead my company down a unique real estate path where I can continue to make an impact on clients and friends each day.

What role do you hope to play on the Board?

The role I hope to play is one that represents smaller real estate companies. I hope to observe and grow into a role that can provide beneficial information and experiences over the last 10 years.

What Association benefits and/or offerings have provided you the most value in your business?

My company and I have benefited most from the association by the support and knowledge they provide me when I am in need. Being my own brokerage there are many questions I don’t always have someone to turn to for and the association and its representatives have always supported me.

What industry trends do you feel will affect our association in the upcoming years?

Social media and online marketing platforms.

What do you think should be the priority issues being addressed by the Association today?

The top priority of the association should be addressing the changes the National Association of REALTORS® are implementing and how it will impact both REALTORS® and consumers in our industry.

Why are you interested in serving on the Board of Directors?

To be honest, I did not know I was interested in being considered a Director nominee. A fellow colleague and REALTOR® reached out to me about the position which peaked my interest. Now I’m intrigued and honored to have a potential opportunity to work with such a respected organization.
