What role do you hope to play on the Board?

If elected, I’d like to work with fellow board members on the issues at hand. Being chairman while the association needed to find a new office location, involved in the Suburban West REALTORS® Association – Montgomery County Association of REALTORS® merger and knowing the inner workings of PAR and NAR will allow me to make decisions with a vast amount of perspectives.

What Association benefits and/or offerings have provided you the most value in your business?

I’d say networking, networking, networking and a very close 1st is everything I receive for the incredible low yearly board dues. It truly is amazing what we receive at great price compared to our fellow colleagues around the country.

What industry trends do you feel will affect our association in the upcoming years?

The current lawsuits are a possible industry disrupter however they pan out the need for the human professional will show an even greater need down the road. Markets are always changing and a large number of consumers need an expert to guide them along the way. We are a much-needed professional because we provide one of the top 3 things people need … shelter.

What do you think should be the priority issues being addressed by the Association today?

Something we have been working on for a while now … Professionalism. The ever-changing societal behaviors cannot allow agents to become lax in our day-to-day activities. Doing the right thing and treating everyone with respect is so incredibly important

Why are you interested in serving on the Board of Directors?

I believe with my experience as a current board member and past Chairman, it provides me a helpful insight in the decisions we need to make over the next two years. Our business is forever changing so we need to stay ahead rather than behind. If elected, I will continue to work in the Tri-County’s long tradition of always looking for ways to improve and increase member value.
