My leadership experiences vary, including:

• Worked as a field supervisor with Yerkes Associates, a Land Surveying and Civil company
• Supervisor with the City of Philadelphia Water Department Engineering and Construction Unit
• Operations manager for the annual Caribbean Festival at Penns Landing
• Board member Team Jamaica Bickle

What role do you hope to play on the Board?

Education is key to our success as REALTORS^®. Using our education to harness the public trust is vital to our industry. The challenges REALTORS^® are facing from institutional and technology firms is posing a problem with our daily activities. One such problem is outdated information being marketed to the public creating the impression at times that REALTORS^® are not sharing good information or data to our prospective clients and customers.

What Association benefits and/or offerings have provided you the most value in your business?

The educational classes, real estate forms, legal services, technical support, local, state and national database among other services.

What industry trends do you feel will affect our association in the upcoming years?

Technology will continue to impact us in our daily business. However, using a camera and video will not necessarily make it easier for buyers or sellers. REALTORS^® will have to be on the front line of cutting edge technology and continuing education to keep up with our clients and customers.

What do you think should be the priority issues being addressed by the Association today?

Housing for everyone. While low income remains a hinderance to homeownership, one question to ask ourselves is what role can the association play in helping more buyers reach their goal of owning a home. Our effort in lobbying the state to create a “first time home buyer savings program” is a great start.

Why are you interested in serving on the Board of Directors?

Just to be asked to submit an application is an honor. I am interested in being considered as a directorial nominee because my years of experiences across the real estate industry will help me share a understanding of the roles and responsibilities of REALTORS^® as we help the public maneuver their way through the process of buying, leasing or selling real estate.
