4 Years Active in Real Estate

What was your career prior to real estate, if applicable?

I was a Vice President of Operations at a technology company in West Chester, PA where I managed a small group of Sales Professionals, implemented new systems such as a CRM and timecard management tool, and established new office locations.

What type of leadership roles have you held outside of real estate?

At my previous employer I was responsible for a group of 5-15 Sales Professionals at any given time and was also the primary liaison between our staffing group and our clients. Leading Sales Professionals by coaching to their goals and ambitions became more than a job requirement but a passion of mine. I am fortunate enough to have had several impactful mentors in my career so far and strive to have a similar impact in my peers’ careers.

As a voice for your colleagues, what strengths/insights will you bring to the Board discussions?

I have an incredible amount of respect for my colleagues and our profession. My strengths will be my ability to create a sense of community among my colleagues by exhibiting empathy, enthusiasm and a forward-thinking attitude towards the Board’s discussions.

What issues do you feel the Association should be addressing?

I feel the association should be addressing issues such as how technology is affecting our business, our Code of Ethics, and our ever-changing market and how best to prepare for the future.

Why are you interested in serving as a member of the Board of Directors?

Ever since completing the Leadership Development Program (LDP) last year I knew I really wanted to get involved with Suburban West in a more consistent way. I applaud Suburban West for having programs such as LDP because it truly changed my career and am so appreciative to belong to an association that strives to make us all better members – I am looking forward to contributing my time and efforts to make our local association and my colleagues better.
