In honor of REALTOR® Safety Month, observed annually in September, The “Safe & Secure: Essential Safety Tips and Tools for REALTORS®” webinar provided members with crucial insights into staying safe on the job. Attendees gained valuable tips on handling potentially dangerous situations in their real estate practice, with REALTOR® Jason Ostrowsky leading the discussion on safety at showings, open houses, and in the office. The second half of the session featured Elvia Morales, who introduced participants to FOREWARN, a key membership benefit from Tri-County Suburban REALTORS® that offers an additional layer of protection when working with clients. The webinar emphasized the importance of not taking on-the-job safety for granted, encouraging realtors to prioritize their well-being while conducting everyday business.

Housing Equity Workshop: Opening Doors with Housing Choice Vouchers (April 17, 2024)
To honor fair housing month and their commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, Tri-County Suburban REALTOR® members met with a panel of Housing Choice Voucher specialists to discuss navigating the HUD voucher program. The panel comprised of Housing Choice Voucher specialists from Chester County, Montgomery County and Chester City in Delaware County guided the attendees to a better understanding the intricacies of housing choice voucher transactions and provided valuable insights into the diverse needs of voucher holders. Attendees learned new ways to elevate their expertise in the real estate market by learning how to foster inclusive housing solutions with housing choice vouchers.
