What was your career prior to real estate, if applicable?

Not applicable.

What type of leadership roles have you held outside of real estate? 

I was the COO of a large, regional builder leading a team of professionals as they navigated the issues of the Savings & Loan crisis while increasing the sales and delivering new homes on time and on budget. I am presently a director of the Kappa Sigma Housing Corporation board; a non-profit.  I was a past director of the Exton Regional Chamber of Commerce.

As a voice for your colleagues, what strengths/insights will you bring to the Board discussions?

As an active broker of a small firm and being involved with other larger organizations through the years, I believe my experience managing and transitioning companies through growth and change will allow me to better articulate the challenges faced by our industry as a whole and its impact on our members.

What issues do you feel the Association should be addressing?

I believe education and training for members is of paramount importance to maintaining the integrity and professionalism of our industry. We are facing unprecedented circumstances that require us to modify current business practices.  I anticipate the need for flexibility to continue as we work our way to “a new normal”.

Why are you interested in serving as a member of the first Board of Directors of Tri-County Suburban REALTORS^®?  

One of my strengths is coaching and mentoring agents.  I would like to be a part of our efforts to affect a smooth transition in merging our boards, supporting our staff and being a resource for our members as we move forward.
