31 Years Active in Real Estate

What was your career prior to real estate, if applicable?

Prior to my career in real estate, I was employed as a Pump Salesman.

What type of leadership roles have you held outside of real estate?

I was honored to be Chairman of The Board for Suburban West Realtors Association in 2015. I currently serve as a Director for Trend MLS.  I served as Vice President for the Downingtown Young Whippets Youth Football/Cheerleading organization.  I’ve also served as President of the Downingtown High School Boys Lacrosse and Swimming Booster Club and as Director of the Bert Bell Memorial Football League.

As a voice for your colleagues, what strengths/insights will you bring to the Board discussions?

I believe my previous leadership experience and continued involvement in the Association is an important attribute.  As a former President of the Chester County Board of REALTORS® and having served previously on both Suburban West’s and Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors, I am aware of the importance of representing the membership.  And I continue to be involved as an instructor and mediator which helps keep me up to speed on members’ needs.

What issues do you feel the Association should be addressing?

As an instructor and Broker, I believe Suburban West should continue to focus on improving communications to and education opportunities for our members.  We need to keep members informed and prepared for changes in the industry.

Why are you interested in serving as a member of the Board of Directors?

In addition to teaching for the school, I want to be more involved in the leadership of the Association to help the organization increase its value to members.
