About
This course will provide attendees with an in-depth understanding of how to assist homeowners who are struggling financially to avoid foreclosure and short sale their home in the event there is no equity. Educate attendees on how to inform their short sale clients of the benefits of a short sale versus a foreclosure including the credit score impact, settlement of mortgage debt, and the Mortgage Debt Services Relief Act available for forgiven debt. Provide attendees with a detailed overview on the CARES Act mortgage forbearance program and questions to ask listing clients. Help buyer’s agents understand how to search for short sale properties and how to present an offer that protects the buyer’s interest in a distressed property purchase.
