How Does Your CMA or BPO Compare to the Appraisal? | Haverford Community Recreation & Environmental Center, Haverford

About

Pricing residential real estate is essential to realistic expectations for both buyer and seller. Appraisals and comparative market analyses (CMA) play significant roles in the real estate transaction yet they vary greatly in their scope and use. In this class, taught by a real estate appraiser, you will learn how to create more accurate CMA’s through better understanding of what makes a true comparable property and what basic items are considered by an appraiser when evaluating a home. The course will help students understand the difference between an appraisal and a CMA and keep real estate licensees in compliance with the law.
