Tri-County Suburban Reaches Out to Community with Annual REALTOR® Coat Drive
Tri-County Suburban REALTORS hosted its annual REALTOR® Coat Drive to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Philadelphia. The drive resulted in a donation of over 200 coats. The drive was part of its annual REALTORS® Reach Out campaign. This campaign is a state and national initiative recognizing the volunteerism and service efforts of REALTORS®. This was the sixth year the association has held a coat drive for the organization.
Through October and early November, REALTOR® and Affiliate offices and their team members collected new winter coats, gloves and hats for youth ages 6 through 16. In addition, individuals donated at Tri-County Suburban events and classes.
“We were excited to continue the coat drive tradition,” said Josh McKnight, 2021 Tri-County Suburban chair. “Our members are proud community residents, employer and employees and have a vested interest in providing resources to agencies that enhance their communities.”
Anne Marie Matteo, Tri-County Suburban president and CEO added, “We’re so proud to be able to participate in programs like the coat drive that have direct, positive impacts on our community. It’s what keeps us coming back to do more.”
