Housing Partnership of

Chester County

January 2023 Spotlight⭐

The Housing Partnership of Chester County was established in 1988 when a group of concerned citizens came together recognizing the lack of affordable housing within Chester County. From those meetings, a First Time Homebuyer educational program was established along with down payment and closing cost assistance.

Through the years, HPCC has provided advocacy, support, and direct financial assistance to help thousands of residents in Chester County who are underserved and at-risk. They not only empower individuals to become homeowners, or to remain in their homes if and as they age-in-place or face challenges, such as a disability, they also stabilize communities and neighborhoods by ensuring houses remain owner occupied.

They also provide Financial Literacy classes to high school students to help prepare them for the working world. These priorities are captured in their Mission: “To improve the quality of life for low-to-moderate income people of Chester County, by providing the ability to acquire and maintain decent affordable housing.”
