What role do you hope to play on the Board?

I have always been very driven when it comes to private property rights. I am incredibly passionate about home ownership and ownership advocacy. I have been around politics at the local level and would love the ability to influence legislation affecting Realtors and consumers. This is my wheelhouse, I love this industry and want to be at the helm of steering it in the best possible direction.

What Association benefits and/or offerings have provided you the most value in your business?

Education. Advocacy.

What industry trends do you feel will affect our association in the upcoming years?

What I view as the deterioration of our professional standards and our Code of Ethics by tech companies wanting to get into real estate. The lack of respect for NAR and the introduction of a new Realtor Association, ARA. There is division within our community about policy, standards, dues and the effectiveness of our Realtor associations.

What do you think should be the priority issues being addressed by the Association today?

We need to bring everyone together. Regularly commune professionally again. We need to push a huge educational campaign on what RPAC is and does for our Realtor community. We need to broadcast legislative efforts. We need to get brokers involved so they get their offices involved. I am a huge advocate for electronic keys for listings and I will continue to be. I know there are too many Realtors offering lock box codes – I have heard from multiple agents and most recently new clients!

Why are you interested in serving on the Board of Directors?

I love this industry. I am so passionate about consumer advocacy. I am worried about the direction real estate is heading. I want to see more of our members be active. I have a strong business and a strong presence in Southern Chester County which I think is needed. I have a good pulse our the Realtor community because of relationship I have and I have a very good reputation among my peers. I am tenacious and will add considerable energy to the board. I am grateful for the opportunity.
