In Pennsylvania, Standard Forms refer to pre-drafted legal documents used in real estate transactions to ensure consistency, compliance with state laws, and protection for all parties involved. These forms are developed by the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS® (PAR).

Some common Standard Forms include:

  • Agreement of Sale – The main contract outlining terms for purchasing a property.
  • Lease Agreements – Contracts for rental properties.
  • Seller’s Property Disclosure Statement – A document where sellers disclose known property defects.
  • Buyer’s Agency Contract – Establishes a relationship between a buyer and their agent.
  • Listing Agreement – Define the terms of representation between a seller and their agent.
