What was your career prior to real estate, if applicable?
Prior to real estate, I was an Environmental Engineer – specializing in vaccine and medical device manufacturing.
What type of leadership roles have you held outside of real estate?
I’ve served on the management team for a Fortune 500 company (Merck), served on the management team at Integra life sciences. Currently, I am sitting as a line officer for my fraternity and Father of four.
As a voice for your colleagues, what strengths/insights will you bring to the Board discussions?
As a degreed engineer, I’m bringing intelligence and independent thoughts. As a Broker of Record in PA, Broker in NJ and Principal owner of a title company, I bring validated experience. As a young African American I will bring perspective and strength through diversity.
What issues do you feel the Association should be addressing?
- Consistency and fairness in appraisals
- Usage of Clean Energy
- Lack of participation of minority members
Why are you interested in serving as a member of the first Board of Directors of Tri-County Suburban REALTORS®?
We are facing difficult times with regards to challenges to real estate brokerage business models, the pandemic, environmental changes, racial tensions and looming affects of the pandemic on our industry. I feel that now more than ever the Board needs to be strong and diverse. I can and will bring both strength and diversity to the new board and its larger footprint of members.
