Planning and zoning serve as the basis for all communities—the communities of your past and present, as well as communities of the future. This course will teach you the basic components and processes of the planning and zoning phases of real estate development, and how these phases must lead us to a better way of developing communities through the application of smart growth principles.
This course teaches attendees:
- The basic process of community planning and zoning.
- State-of-the-art community planning concepts that they can apply.
- How to get their community to live up to its potential.
- What is needed to make their community a better place to live and do business.
- The value and benefits of smart growth neighborhoods to homebuyers and communities.
- How they can help make smart growth possible.
You will learn how to not only strengthen your business but also become an advocate for smart, sustainable, equitable growth in your community.
