Risk Reduction for Brokers and Agents | Virtual, Via Zoom

About

Risk is an unavoidable part of real estate, but understanding where it lurks—and how to mitigate it—can protect both agents and their clients. This course provides a comprehensive roadmap for identifying and managing risk in three critical areas: seller property disclosures, active transactions, and failed transactions. Participants will gain a deep understanding of Pennsylvania’s seller disclosure law, agency and dual agency obligations, and common contractual pitfalls. Through case law examples and state-specific regulations, agents will learn how to navigate termination scenarios, minimize liability in failed transactions, and implement proactive risk-reduction strategies to ensure smoother, more secure deals.
