Negotiation is a big part of the job that every real estate agent does, and it is one of the skills most highly valued by consumers. Negotiation should be part of every agent’s value proposition. Negotiation skills can improve with practice and experience and the right tools. This course will expand your knowledge of negotiation in PA real estate transactions, prepare you to give your clients more options, and make the best use of your tools. This course will focus on the offers/agreements between buyers and sellers. The Agreement of Sale (ASR) and addenda are VERY flexible tools that professional licensees should use with skill. The course will also cover negotiations through many other forms of communication. This course will include a review of licensee duties, consumer protection, professional standards, and relevant laws and regulations.
