Please expand on your previous leadership experience.

I have been a part of the title insurance industry, my entire life. As a third-generation Title Agent, I have been leading my company and my ever-growing team for nearly 25 years. I have led through up markets (early 2000’s), down markets (2008/2009) and crazy markets (Covid!)

I have also been an actively involved with my own associations of the Pennsylvania Land Title Association as well as the American Land Title Association.

I am also an active member in my church, school communities, and local non-profits.  While not “leading ” in these arenas, as there is only so much time in the day, I have always made sure I show up, give my time and financial support to those helping to make our local communities better for me and my family, and for the wider community.

What role do you hope to play on the Board?

I hope to continue to serve the Board with a second term. In that second term, I look forward to continue providing additional perspective to the Realtor Board members.  As a title agent, I work very closely with realtors, and have a deep understanding of their business. I also hope to continue to serve on the audit committee,  putting my many years of escrow experience to work!

What Association benefits and/or offerings have provided you the most value in your business?

I get the most value out of the education offerings, as well as the opportunity to provide education. I look forward to upcoming education opportunities. I also feel like RPAC provides extremely valuable advocacy to our industry in the local, state and national levels. Knowing that we are represented where decisions are being made is extremely valuable.

What industry trends do you feel will affect our association in the upcoming years?

I am deeply concerned about affordability. The average age of the first-time homebuyer is nearly 40 (over 40 nationally), 10 years ago it was 32. This trend, threatens our livelihood and the stability of our local communities. I am also concerned about fraud and how Artificial Intelligence will exacerbate an already serious problem in our industry.popular but the multitude of restrictive land use codes in suburban Philadelphia (and really much of the country) is only adding to the shortage of housing supply and home affordability.

What do you think should be the priority issues being addressed by the Association today?

I think education and advocacy are the most important aspects of Association benefits and Association shoud continue to focus on those.  We live and operate in an ever-changing landscape, and while we all do our best to “keep up
“, knowing the Association is making sure we are all up-to-date and well-represented whether in local, state or national matters is invaluable!

Why are you interested in serving on the Board of Directors?

I have learned much during my first term, and hope to use a second 2-year term to bring even more value, insight and perspective to the Board, as well as additional experience.
