Tri-County Suburban REALTORS® is excited to share the 2025 “Making a Difference” REALTOR® Community Service Award winners. This year, Tri-County received the highest number of applications since the program’s inception, and the quality of nominations was exceptional.

2025 REALTOR® Community Service Award Recipients

Grand Prize Winner

Tina Guerrieri, nominated by her colleague Stephen Marchese, was awarded the grand prize, a grant for $10,000 for her charity Miko’s Place.

Miko’s Place offers comprehensive support to victims of domestic abuse by providing access to therapy, legal assistance, emergency shelter, and a range of support services to help those in need. They are committed to all individuals, with a particular focus on supporting immigrants and underrepresented communities. They help those in need build successful lives free from domestic abuse.

2nd & 3rd Prize Winners

2nd Prize: Brian Slater was awarded $4,000 for his work with Citizen’s Advocacy of Chester County. Brian was nominated by Marnie Melvin, employee of Citizen’s Advocacy.

3rd Prize: Michelle Garcia was awarded $3,000 for her charity The Philadelphia Project. Michelle was nominated by her friend, Theresa Kehler.

Honorable Mentions

The Tri-County Suburban “Making a Difference” Community Service Awards recognize active REALTOR® members who are making an extraordinary impact on their community through volunteer work. Nominees are judged primarily on the level and impact of personal contribution. Nominees should have made a significant contribution of personal time, but contributions of money, materials and other resources may also be considered by the awards task force as well.
