Abby Anderson, was awarded the grand prize, a grant for $10,000 for her charity Salvation of Sorrows.

Salvation of Sorrows (SOS) was founded by Abby Anderson in honor of her late father, a U.S. Marine veteran who experienced homelessness. SOS restores hope, dignity, and confidence to people experiencing homelessness and veterans through free grooming, food, clothing and outreach. Abby serves as the President of the organization. Since founding the organization in 2016, Abby has helped provide more than 10,000 free haircuts across 11 states and three countries.

Over the years, Debbie and other members of Tri-County Suburban REALTORS® and neighboring Associations have come together to support this event through their Sleep Out team.

3rd Prize: Linda Walters was awarded $3,000 for her work with Surrey Services for Seniors, nominated by Jill Whitcomb, friend and CEO of Surrey Services for Seniors.

Honorable Mention Winners

The Tri-County Suburban “Making a Difference” Community Service Awards recognize active REALTOR® members who are making an extraordinary impact on their community through volunteer work.
